I still shudder to think how close we went in Euro 96!! The last couple of times that we've played the Germans in a knockout game in either the World Cup or Euros we get robbed by a goal post or some
blatant refereeing dcision who's damned blind too see. I still think there was a stitch up in S Africa just to get us out of the competition.

Don't know about most heartbreaking moment in football but my lowest was December 19th 1998,stood in the away end at Bootham Crescent on a bitterly cold afternoon as York City beat us 2-1 to leave us languishing in the bottom half of league 2.

Having been there through the bad times makes me appreciate just how lucky we are as a club to be where we are now.....it would appear a heck of a lot of City fans that go to the games today have got very short memories, because some of them don't have start bitching and moaning at the slightest thing. My personal moment was watching Michael Thomas score the winner against Liverpool to give Arsenal the title. I cried for weeks!
