Cold Fish,directed by Sion Sono who also directed Love Exposure and EXTE,a film about killer hair extensions (really),this film is a very dark and distrubing psychological horror

City Of Violence,South Korean crime thriller that is highly praised by Quentin Tarantino and i can see why,it was brilliant with great fighting scenes,especially the finale in the tea rooms,just swords and fists rather than guns

Two childhood friends now police detectives working together investigate another's friend's death which might be linked to a gang led by another friend of theirs,lots of bloodshed and fighting ensues

The Happiness Of The Katakuris,a bonkers comedy horror musical from Takashi Miike,very entertaining and very original

The Katakuri family open up a bed and breakfast in the countryside,any guest that stays there seems to die a horrible death though and they need to get rid of the bodies fast

Adrift In Tokyo,something a bit different from the asian horrors and thrillers i enjoy,this is an enjoyable comedy drama from Miki Satoshi,he is good at these sort of films

If you like some classic Chow Yun Fat then his God of Gamblers is a classic and well worth a watch.. there is a sequel Return of the God of Gamblers , this is ok too..
