[ADDITIONAL UPDATE]

I just got another email from them. It seems they have changed the reason the files were blocked once again. Rolleyes There now stating that because this forum deals with material of a pornographic nature. They don't allow that content on their system.

And yet none of that was stated in their terms & conditions. This company seems to be making it's rules up as it goes along. And if there going to ban all porn from there storage system, then they are going to lose 90% of there business.

I also see that they have added another rule to the end of their terms & conditions page relating to posting links on external websites of a pornographic nature. annoyed

So that now leaves all our content in violation of there new rule. annoyed

They really don't like being challeged, and proved wrong do they. Rolleyes

And this is where filehosters fail, they have perfectly legal content being hosted but the laws are so damn blurry that its easier for them to just ban it all. Banning porn is going to drive away so many users its unbelievable that they would add such a rule. With more and more people moving to torrents for their music and movies, porn is all these filehosters have. Well that and the maybe 10-15% of legitimate users.Rolleyes

First off thanks for your support.

Believe me, Im gonna fight for our rights until the bitter end. Someone has too stand up and fight. I'm not frightened by these big corporations. Unless we all stand up for our rights, were nothing. I have decided to fight this one out.

Received my second violation at Mediafire, apparently the word "sex" is now a red flag for their bot - even when connected to the word "Station" [I only thought it would be fine because I've done that before with previous videos and it was allowed - a sure sign they're changing their own rules to fit how they see it]. Just waiting to see if my account gets deleted or not.

Fighting is admirable ace, but it needs to be a fight you can win or it's pointless.

Mediafire have cut their allowance limit by a FIFTH, from 50GB to 10GB. Meaning I've had to delete a majority of my currently available videos and begin a process of rolling uploads, where the videos are downloadable for about 2 weeks only and then merely re-uploadable - after a period of time. Not ideal, but it's either this or stop making vids.

Today, my Mediafire account limit has returned to 50GB from the 10GB it was last week. What it'll be tomorrow or the next day - who f*cking knows.
