i like their music. very talented song writer. one of the best in the buisness. they won every music award going which just shows are fantastic the bee gees were.

musicians, singers, writers all come and go but their works last forever.

Very sad news, although expected still a shock (we seem to be losing music legends an alarming rate)

RIP Robin Gibb

Sad news about Robin last night.

RE: Robin Gibb - Top of the Babes! - 21-05-2012 09:36

Robin has joined his brothers Maurice and Andy. My thoughts go out to Barry, Robin's wife and family and Barbara Streisand who has lost two of her collaborators in one week, Donna Summer with whom she duetted on the track "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)" and Robin Gibb co-writer of the track "Woman In Love".

Alongside Gibb and Summer, the pop world has also lost Peter Jones (drummer from Crowded House) in the short space of four days.

May they rest in peace and their music continue for generations to come.

The music of the Bee Gees was again music that is probably a generation ahead of me but they were a band whether or not you liked or disliked their music you allways had a tremendous amount of respect for. Robin was a very important member of the group where they entertained millions of audiences throughout the 80's after having really hit the big time on the back of the 1979 movie soundtrack Stayin Alive. Anyway once again a huge contributer to the music era and in particular all thing's disco. RIP Robin a muscian and a gentleman.
