Chelsea are reported to have already wrapped up a deal that will see Porto striker Hulk arrive in the summer.
The Blues have long been linked with the Brazilian forward and now reports in Portugal have claimed a deal has been agreed between the two clubs ahead of the transfer window opening.
Chelsea do not know who their manager will be next season but that does not stop owner Roman Abramovich from lining up moves in the transfer market like he has done recently following the capture of Marko Marin.

Speculation is rife this afternoon suggesting that Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has left the club and as yet the Anfield club has refused to comment on the matter.
Liverpool have declined to comment on the future of manager Kenny Dalglish on Tuesday, amid rumours the Scot could be set to part company with the club.
Dalglish’s future has been the subject of conjecture following a disappointing Premier League, with Liverpool finishing eighth after a series of poor results at Anfield.
Twitter has been abuzz with talk of the Scot’s impending departure but as yet no concrete evidence of this has come to light. Dalglish is in Boston discussing his future with the club’s American owners, as confirmed below.

Dalglish jetted out to America yesterday to deliver his end of season report to owners Fenway Sports Group.
And after reports of his bosses showing interest in Wigan’s Roberto Martinez, Dalglish is determined to put an end to the uncertainty caused by Liverpool’s miserable league campaign.
Owners John W Henry and Tom Werner have yet to say publicly that Dalglish will be in charge next season as they conduct their review.

Albion are apparently interested in Nigel Reo-Coker, who is a free agent following Bolton's relegation.
We have also release Nicky Shorey, Joe Mattock, Somen Tchoyi, and Marton Fulop. Keith Andrews and Paul Scharner could still be offered new deals.
