The torch went out this morning, just before 10am in Devon.
I thought that they'd have to go all the way back to Greece to get it relit but apparently they keep the 'mother flame' in a support vehicle.
The relay carried on with a replacement torch.

What happens if the torch flame dissappears like if some one runs across with a fire extinguisher and puts it out. Does that mean no more Olympics or what?

They have a "master flame" which is allegedly the one lit in Greece a few weeks ago. They can use that to relight the indvidual torches.
