paula radcliffe bejing 2008 marathon. runs 22 miles and then gives up because she could not win it then does the same in the 10000m.

Although credited to David Coleman, it was actually said by his colleague Ron Pickering.

Did anyone else notice when the German team came out, the camera panned to some old bloke who was doing, what I can only describe as a Nazi salute ?

brain johnston, bbc tms commentator, is known for lines like that. its not a gaffe.
