I'm told this is exactly the same engine as fifa 10, which is online for £1.27. Only diffe rence is cosmetic, save yourselves a fortune.

Reading that my mate kalel grew up on fifa on the ps1 makes me feel old! I remember getting it for the megadrive in '94!
I have always gone with FIFA never really thought about PES but the few times i have played it always appeared to have a good feel about it. Its just personal preference really.

Played the demo of Fifa 13 and it does feel a lot smoother and shooting animation lil more crisp and the passing slick but i felt a little disappointed its not a huge leap from Fifa 12 am sure the more i play it the more things i will discovery and the players fall over way too easily that problem i heard from EA is being worked on as we speak. I was disappointed to hear the demo build we were given is very old at least 7 months old or less and newer build going around at gaming conventions were a lot better, its only the demo so will wait till i get my hands on the final game just hoping they add enough in the final version so you get your moneys worth fingers crossed, aside from that is shaping up nicely. By the way the only teams you can play as are Man City, Arsenal, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan and the squads are up to date to be fair, out on PS3 and 360.

What i would add is a nice feature while the game loads up is mini games which there are various different ones based on Crossing, Dribbling, Shooting, Free Kicks etc etc, which you are rewarded points to get to certain levels on this case on the demo bronze level a nice little feature which is fun and helps with developing skill too

I was informed that online players with a season ticket can download the full game from today for a set price that gives exclusive use until midnight on Thursday when the game is offically released.
One nice thing in Fifa 13 is the one touch feature. Footballers in the game, dependent on their real life counterparts' ability will be able to drop the ball with one touch from a cross (or not, if they are crap lol).
Also told that online players will be able to download every week the performance levels of the real life players. In other words if a real player has a good week his ability is good-if he has a poor one then his game ability drops in accordance.
