Having watched the new series, as welcome as it was, I found the plot to be a bit on the weak side with very repetitive humour throughout, the performances were ok, a bit rusty at times, but with the script they had to work with they all did well, looking forward to seeing the series go from strength to strength once again. Series 6 will allways be my favourite. On the fashion side of things I don't think Rimmers shade of Blue works as good with the set as the previous one did, also the Cat's outfit is also way too bright. Minor wardrobe issues which I'm sure will improve once this series is established firmly once again.

watched 2nd episode fathers and suns and another very good episode with laughs throughout and references to lister's origins in the previous series of red dwarf in ourobouros

Yes. I enjoyed Fathers & Suns.
Rebecca Blackstone as the sexy predictive compuer Pree was quite good. Also classic Lister with reference back to his beginnings in 'Ouroboros' and his father's day tape...
Some limp moments but I think they are getting back to 'good' Red Dwarf.
As I am writing this am watching the classic 'Dimension Jump' from series IV with Ace Rimmer, now this is really funny... 'Smoke me a kipper...'

Rebecca Blackstone Tongue

Another good episode Smile

Watched Ep.1 and it was good, but by no means classic Dwarf. When I forgot about Ep.2 and missed it, I wasn't particularly bothered. After Grant & Naylor parted ways, the shows never recovered and had started to fade a little anyway to be honest.

I think a movie to conclude the story after season 6 would have been nice ending for me Smile

This week's episode was another solid one, bit of a shaggy dog story, but no harm in that Smile
