I shouldn't really have omitted Cactus' 2nd bump during Hell In The Cell '98. That was a genuine shocker. Even at the time, I could tell the first, spectacular fall, was planned albeit not too surprisingly he sustained injuries from that, but the 2nd (through the cage roof) was an absolute fucking train-wreck of a thing - he just landed like a sack of shit...I think that's the one where his tooth ended up sticking out of his nose.

yeah the Cactus bumps were both really ill. didn't think he was going to get up from the second fall. but that's Mick for you. always wanting to give the crowd there moneys worth. have met him twice and he's a top guy

I kinda lost a bit of respect for him after 2001 - he should have stayed retired, but I was a serious 'mark' between 1992 & 2000, so he's basically forgiven. Never met him, but clearly an intelligent and essentially all-round good bloke. I recently purchased one of his ring-worn outfits, from his time in Japan. Link below, if you want to see it.

that's cool, I think some of his best stuff was from Japan as Cactus Jack. like the death matches with Terry funk. it's a shame that Japan didn't televise the stuff over here.

n if you just like mad shit get some teddy hart stuff hes fucking class some of the stuff he does it just like fuck how the hell did he do that
he was in TNA for a short time will have a look through some of my stuff if anyone wants teddy hart stuff let me know

KOTD 1995 was cool - apart from the gone-wrong farty explosion in the final itself. One of my favourite matches of his was against W*ing Kanemura on the FMW 5.5.96 show - that was pretty fucked-up.

I deliberately omitted CZW / IWA (M/S) / BJW etc. from my list, purely because the intention (in hardcore / deathmatch terms) was to shock and push the envelope. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I haven't enjoyed that shit, because I have, but it wasn't so much 'gone wrong' as 'what the fuck did you expect'.

lol yeah CZW stuff is crazy. I remember seeing some move off a truck through aload of lighttubes and Tables. very hardcore stuff.
yeah rik2k8 good call on Teddy Hart, seen quite abit of his stuff. I think my fav match with him was Jack evan vs Teddy Hart vs Petty Williams awesome match!!!

Nick Mondo went off the truck, amongst many other stunts - see how far that got him - fucked up & retired @ 25 or something - basically wrestling's version of Jackass, that's my main objection to it.
Teddy Hart - now there's a subject. The guy has talent, some sweet moves, but his ego is even greater than his ability + he's that 'awkward size' - never gonna be a heavyweight, therefore eternally lost in the Junior/Cruiserweight division, which outside of Mexico or Japan, doesn't meen a damn thing.
