RE: Use of blood/blading in wrestling - DarthFootman - 19-08-2017 15:24 I agree with BoBByB187 - It can help tell a story, but it was getting to the stage in WWE that it was gratuitous, happening in multiple matches on the same night and often just seemed to be because they could. I don't really agree or disagree with them banning it but I think if it happens they should just get on with it, not bother with refs stopping the matches etc. I get that children watch them so I can understand their stance on it I guess. RE: Use of blood/blading in wrestling - rpj316 - 19-08-2017 15:29 I totally agree. If used sparingly,a bit of colour can enhance an angle and a match but it in WWE it was often used as a short cut in too many gimmick matches that covered up the short comings of various performers. It will only happen in the pg era by mistake. RE: Use of blood/blading in wrestling - bigguy01 - 21-08-2017 19:16 it works well in LU because the type of show LU is. TNA used blood letting as a storyline for Abyss/Joseph Park a couple of years ago. Wyatt pouring blood over balor should be used as a way pushing balor to the limits before the demon king was used. What should be done was balor gets opened up by wyatt which brings part of the persona to the fore. |
