Pakistan: 167 all out
South Africa won by 67 runs.
Hashim Amla made a solid 81 and top scored.
Pakistan were way behind the required rate all the way through the run chase and eventually got bowled out.
It would be a shame to lose Pakistan from the tournament as they have a supremely talented bowling unit.
Alas their batting lets them down.
They now need the West Indies to win their last two group games.
They then need a win against India and a substantial run rate improvement to progress.

Pakistan batted like they didn't believe they could chase the target.Only Misbah looked likely,but just isn't getting any support.Maybe they have got rid on Younis Khan too early as another senior player would help.

Darren Sammy hit a barnstorming half century late on to propel the Windies to a respectable score after a mid innings collapse threatened to end their innings early.
Who knows how important his innings may prove?

You could critisize captain McCullum for geting carried away by bowling Williamson in the penultimate over which went for 18 as Maxwell hit him for 2 sixes & a four.

Australia earlier dropped David Warner after an incident in a bar which took place after Englands win over Australia.
He's supposed to have chinned Joe Root.

I must say I am enjoying this Champions Trophy.
The format is simple and there is one game every day in the group phase which I like.
Hopefully England can progress although Sri Lanka will be no pushover tomorrow with Malinga being a big threat.
As a neutral I am looking forward to Pakistan and India playing each other in the group match. Could be fantastic entertainment
