Well done Jimmy..

I use to have a Triumph Dolmite. It was a great car, plenty of room on the back seat Big Grin

Well done on reaching your obscure landmark.

I will give you another clue to my first car's identity,it had something which though everyday now did make it diffrent from most saloons of that era.

Spot on,well done sir,the one i had was conifer green and had done 92k when i bought it,i even fitted white wall tyres on mine, joined the register and took it to a show, unfortuneatly i had my license took off me till i could proove i was medically fit to drive having failed my first test,so i had to sell it.Ive had many diffrent cars since but the one thing that links them is they have had wood fascia or trim of some sort.
Thanks to those who took part and my next landmark will be my third car,as my second was the same engine size as the first.
