Cbeebies is more intelligent laugh BBC3 was aimed at people with smartphones anyway.

I'll wager you will find that smartphone users are too technically minded for BBC3 laugh

If BBC3 disappears, that will make BBC4 the new BBC3.
So no need to panic Wink

Well, they've only gone and done it. RIP BBC 3. From today it is online only.
That's the end of Top Gear repeats at 7, I'll just have to watch the One Show now.

I used to enjoy watching repeats of two pints of lager and a packet of crisps on BBC 3, sometimes they showed the same episode twice in one night

RE: BBC Three - Kingsmind - 16-02-2016 21:16

sad to see this channel go of the tv as it did show some great programs like tv series and movies. but at least it is online that's the main thing so at least you can still watch it. at least we know the reason why family guy moved to itv now lol.

RE: BBC Three - wackawoo - 16-02-2016 21:28

Well at least there won't be that aweful zombie program back.

RE: BBC Three - elgar1uk - 17-02-2016 12:53

BBC3 had an average viewing share of 1.4% which accounts for its demise as a TV channel.

I'm sure the £4.20 a year the TV license holder was paying for it could be put to better use.

RE: BBC Three - ShandyHand - 17-02-2016 23:00

^ Your £4.20 will mostly go to providing the over 75s with their free licences. (Not all the amount will be 'saved' of course as there is a cost to having BBC3 online.) This may well be a worthier cause than BBC3 but I doubt much of the saving will go towards programming. The beeb have a hole to fill passed off to them by the current government.
