England are struggling in their warm up match against the West Indies, posting 131/7 with 43 not out from Morgan being the only highlight. West Indies have started well so will probably make light work of their target.

West Indies win by 7 wickets with 23 balls remaining.Gayle 58 not out (38 balls) put on 78 for the 1st wicket with Dwayne Smith 36 got them off to a quick start which broke the back of a chase.Looked like a below par score by England.
Tomorrow will be England's last chance to work out there plans when they face India,Broad is expected to play after resting his knee.

Following Ireland's last ball win against Zimbabwe on Monday the tournament has now seen another last ball finish as Zimbabwe managed to overcome the Netherlands. Ireland against the Netherlands could turn out to be a close match too.

Ireland's innings was interupted twice by the floodlights cutting out before rain stopped play and left Ireland with a 21 run win by D/L.
Looking good to get to the main stages.

India beat England by 20 runs in their final warm-up game. The pattern continues,England bogged-down by spin.

RE: 2014 ICC World Twenty20 - William H Bonney - 20-03-2014 01:21

Yes England choked by spin again. Of the 158 that England scored 89 came off 13 overs of spin and 69 from the other 7 overs that India bowled.

Hosts Bangladesh had a scare after a batting collapsed from 85-3 to 108 all out against Hong Kong who went on to record a 2 wicket victory with 2 balls to spare.
Bangladesh still progressed to the Super 10 Stage with a better net run rate than Nepal.

West Indies look the strongest team followed by India. I reckon Australia are dark horses their batting is unrecognisable since last Summer.

Ireland are well on their way to booking a place in the Super 10 Stage.Posting an impressive 189-4 against the Netherlands. The innings had been set up by captain Porterfield with 47 from 32 balls,& an explosive 4th wicket partnership added 101 off 45 balls,Kevin O'Brian 42 not out from 16 balls & Poynter dismissed off the last ball of the innings with 57 off 38 balls.

I wouldn't put it past them causing another upset against England with the form they are showing & England's lack of form.

Netherlands scored 193 from 13.5 overs. Phenomenal scoring. And so Ireland miss out on the group stages, from a seemingly strong position.

I think the Netherlands set a new record for the fastest 100 scored in T20, didn't quite catch what the newsreader said.
