That was changed soon after the Games in India 4 years ago IIRC.

Why on earth is Scotland's national anthem 'Flower of Scotland'? Sad Whatever happened to 'Scotland The Brave'? - far more rousing!

Yeah think land of hope n glory much better anthem than Jerusalem and prefer scotland the brave to best anthem of home nations is danny boy for the northern irish

Good 1st day for Scotland and England, 3 golds for Scotland with Kimberley Renicks winning Gold in 48kg judo, her sister Louise doing likewise in 52kg judo, Hannah Miley winning 400 IM in swimming pool. For England Alistair Brownlee won men's triathlon, Jodie Stimpson the women's triathlon. Bradley Wiggins only got silver in team pursuit

So pleased for Zoe Smith winning her Gold medal for England in the weighlifting this afternoon.
After a troubled few years she has come good and after nearly quitting the sport altogether tbis will hopefully reinvigorate her career.

Boy, did the Nigerian silver medallist, Ndidi Winifred, look pissed!

I caught the medal ceremony earlier which is when I first found out about the Jerusalem switch. I hadn't even realised this was on the cards and which shows how much attention I was paying four years ago - it changed before Dehli.

It's the type of thing that could make a difference if you dreamed of Land of Hope and Glory for your moment of glory. I suppose it's theoretically still not impossible ( Bounce ) but if I ever climb the podium, I will be humming Scotland the Brave as loudly as I canHeart
