what's your point? ROI aren't a home nation but we still talk about them

The point is a simple one, but if you find it difficult to grasp it I'll explain it again for you.

I set up the ENGLAND qualifying thread for ENGLAND. I didn't set it up for Scotland, the home countries, the Republic of Ireland or anyone else. I set it up for ENGLAND. That's why it's called the ENGLAND thread.

If someone wants to discuss Scotland's qualifying matches they can set up their own thread, as mikedafc has sensibly done. And it shouldn't be merged into the ENGLAND thread as circles_o_o_o suggested, because the ENGLAND thread is for ENGLAND.

Now do you understand?

A plucky effort by Scotland against Germany and a very even game. I think a draw would have been a fairer result.

I didn't see anything of the Germany match, but I've got to say I'm very impressed with how Scotland have improved under Gordon Strachan.

Well tomorrow our qualifying campaign really starts. Nobody expected us to get anything away to Germany but the way we played that night has really filled me with a lot of hope and expectation.

My prediction for tomorrow. Scotland 5 Georgia 0

Statistically we have never lost an International game at Ibrox and I expect that to continue. I honestly think we are going to absolutely hammer the opposition Big Grin

I see a 2-0 win for the Scots.

3-1, I haven't seen us score a big haul of goals since we put six past The Faroe's at Parkhead, we are bound to concede one.

Well not quite the 5 which I predicted but I'll take that result nonetheless.

Final score at Ibrox. Scotland 1 Georgia 0

Our next game is away to Poland on Wednesday. If we win that one then that'll be such a massive result for us. At the moment I'm delighted to see us register our first 3 points of the Qualifying Campaign Smile

never mind at least you still have to play Gibraltar

Hmmm Poles just beat Germans at home Wink only comfort was that it was a very poor german side again and Poland v Germany is a big rivalry almost as bad as Scotland vs England Wink
