The amount of money raised so far is amazing. It shows that most people are good and that the sick individuals who did this are very much in the minority.

I wouldn't even think £500,000 would be enough to rebuild the home if we can raise a million it would go a long way. would like to se the two heroes who saved dogs not get bravery medals but also the freedom of Manchester. do they know exactly where and how the fire was started Ranmmy?

Still working out how the fire started this morning. I won't be at the Manchester Phoenix home game this Sunday as I am going to watch The Saturdays in concert, but I will be following the game on twitter etc and will post in here as soon as there is an announcement about the collection for the home game on Sunday

£400,000 (and growing) in less than 24 hours is a fantastic amount, it's just such a massive shame that it takes a tragedy like this.

As a pointer to Rammy and anyone else wishing to donate food or blankets, they should take them to North Manchester Police HQ.

Any further contact with the police is information on the incident ONLY.
