by the time its in beta the game itself is for the most part finished. beta is more about testing server side backend and load rather than the game.
saying that there are often day 1 patches but they tend to be to nerf op weapons and fix map glitch points found by players in the beta. rareley do they contain fixes for the basic gameplay.

Played the beta and to be honest not really impressed. Just seems too much like COD AW to me and feels a bit too much like an arcade game rather than a FPS. Sure it will sell in bucket loads though.

Yeah COD gone a bit stale would have loved them to do another one like the first one a historical one or II with flashbacks to afghanistan and central america

As I play mainly multiplayer now I'm not too bothered about the campaign setting but I am tired of the futuristic settings. Can't be doing with all the bouncing around at high speed, using over-powered aim assisted weapons of mass destruction. It takes away any skill and enjoyment from the game.
Personally I like them to be modern rather than set in the past. Despite its flaws I much prefer Battlefield to COD and if after realism then Arma on pc is tough to beat.

agreed although i cant stand arma, poorly written and buggy as fk as well as needing a ridiculous pc to run it. 14fps on a gtx 970? WTF!.

After the last two misses I am genuinely looking forward to playing this tomorrow. Beta gave me hope, might even complete the campaign this time lol

So what are people thinking?
An AW and BO2 cocktail?
I'm yet to decide if it's a good balance between the two or just a Jack of all trades and master of none.
The first thing that jumps out is the speed and characteristics of the boost jumping in comparison to AW.
It's slower and I can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing?
The thing with any new game is the 'play' adjustment process.
I'll have a better opinion once I've given it a fair shake.
So for now, all I'm going to say is I'm enjoying it, but yet to decide if I'm going to love it.
