Very sad news. One of those best actors Britain has ever produced. A long, varied & successful career including appearing in several iconic franchises (Lord of the rings, hobbit, Star Wars & James Bond)

That's quite spooky, was just reading earlier today how he's featured contributing to a BBC 4 documentary next week "How to Be Sherlock Holmes" .
Hope they still show it, would be ideal if they put one of his own films on after it as a further tribute.

Already been said on here great British actor, also loved opera & a fair singer, a 3 handicap at golf probably could have been a professional. A sad day RIP Christopher Lee.
