RE: UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2015 - William H Bonney - 25-06-2015 09:48 I thought Italy were the best team in the competition, even though they didn't make the semi-finals. Anyway it's Germany-Portugal and the Scandinavian derby of Denmark-Sweden on Saturday with the winners meeting in the final on Tuesday. Where was Jack Wilshere? Where was Raheem Sterling? Where was Ross Barkley? Where was Phil Jones? So here's a serious question - if England don't play their best players what should we actually expect to happen? RE: UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2015 - DAFM80 - 27-06-2015 21:27 The favourites Germany have been beaten 5-0 by Portugal. It's Germany's biggest ever defeat in an U-21 game. The other semi-final saw an upset too as Sweden beat Denmark 4-1. Won't let it happen again now I've been told off. Jeez lighten up ffs RE: UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2015 - railwayman - 28-06-2015 11:16 Oxlade-Chamberlain should have been there I think. But there were plenty who could have been that weren't, such as Zaha, Shaw and Chambers. It didn't help that Berahino was injured and Stones missed the first 2 games through injury, so England were without pretty much a whole team. RE: UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2015 - William H Bonney - 01-07-2015 01:12 Sweden won the European Under-21 Championship title with a penalty shootout victory over Portugal following a goalless draw. |
