I remember that at the time Shelford said it was the perfect response. He said the Irish response was a challenge in itself. Look at how the French team got into trouble for doing something similar at the 2011 world cup final. The pc brigades power is extremely disturbing.

Best one is the wales one in millenium stadium welsh just stood in line and didnt move well after the haka had been completed

It did not prevent them from getting a pasting though. I have never seen a nation in any sport talk up such a good game yet fail to deliver to the extent the welsh rugby team do pretty much everytime they play a southern hemisphere giant or when playing in the world cup. Probably the most over rated rugby nation ever.
