RE: The Masters 2016 - Snooks - 10-04-2016 21:50 It's gone bonkers . I do not @#$£ing believe this . WTF RE: The Masters 2016 - Snooks - 10-04-2016 23:00 Danny Willett has won the Masters. Many congratulations. The first British champion at Augusta since Sir Nick Faldo. RE: The Masters 2016 - Charlemagne - 10-04-2016 23:00 Speith not going to come back from this after making a 5 on the 17th. Well done to Danny Willett for finally achieving a majors win RE: The Masters 2016 - Rammyrascal - 10-04-2016 23:11 Paul Casey 4th as well. Pollyanna Woodward will be very happy with how her other half has done RE: The Masters 2016 - terence - 10-04-2016 23:14 (10-04-2016 23:00 )snookered147 Wrote: Danny Willett has won the Masters. and only the second englishman to win it. RE: The Masters 2016 - Snooks - 10-04-2016 23:28 Lee Westwood joint second too. RE: The Masters 2016 - Doddle - 11-04-2016 06:56 So all that BBC waffle about the 20th anniversary of the Faldo-Norman finish DID in fact pay off. What a crazy final round. When Spieth hit 4 birdies in a row, it looked like a canter. And then it very much wasn't. I do find Spieth easy to dislike, I admit, from his tortoise speed to his middle-aged face. All credit to Danny "looks like Ricky Groves off of EastEnders" Willett for doing what a champion must - for doing what Faldo did in 1996 - keeping calm and carrying on. The guy's World #12 anyway, so it's not like a total long shock. And well done to Westwood, to Casey, to Fitzpatrick, to all those guys, Kjeldsen, Rose, etc, who really made it such an overall thumping good night. RE: The Masters 2016 - Charlemagne - 11-04-2016 07:18 You can imagine Danny Willett waking up this morning. He'll be thinking 'Was it a dream or did it really happen' RE: The Masters 2016 - lovebabes56 - 11-04-2016 07:30 absolutely love his brother's PJ's tweets he'll probably be offered megabucks deals for books, etc. RE: The Masters 2016 - Doddle - 11-04-2016 07:37 It's going to ruin our reputation for winning the Ryder Cup as underdogs, though |
