The bookies are reporting a flurry of bets for Glenn Hoddle and Eddie Howe, although Gareth Southgate is still attracting the most money.
Drifting a little in the odds after early interest are Alan Pardew, Alan Shearer and Gary Neville.

A new contender today is Jurgen Klinsmann, who's now 3rd favourite with the bookies behind Southgate and Hoddle.
On Hoddle, Joey Barton has just said this: "He did OK in 1998 WC but he's been out of the game a long time and having worked with him at QPR, he is so far behind where he needs to be."

I think Shearer would be a great option,he may not have managerial experience,but he knows the tactical side of the game well,but its only my opinion.

Does anyone think a new manager will change anything? Take out the two home tournaments and we have done nothing of note bar Italia '90 which we could/should have won. I'd like to see an England under 21 team playing in the football league which IMO would be more beneficial to the players then having them sent out on loan all over the country.
