He was a great character actor, I thought he was excellent as the gulf war veteran in the last supper ( one of my all time fave films ) RIP Bill.

A great Actor & echoing Lancelot790's point a very underated one too.The 2 favourite films for me was his roles in Aliens & Weird Science.He was also great in Mighty Joe Young (featuring a hot young Charlize Theron),Near Dark,Tombstone,A Simple Plan & Frailty to name a few.
I also remember his voiceover in the Aliens game on the Megadrive when you died you would hear Bills line 'Game Over Man!!'.
A great loss.

Really sad loss. My favourite roles of his were as Fred Haise in Apollo 13 and as Severen in Near Dark. I hope they'll be a tribute of some description at tonight's Academy Awards.

Was going to mention this myself, that he's the only actor to be killed by an alien, a Terminator and a predator, 3 iconic sci-fi characters.
A very good versatile actor who will be sadly missed by many. As a comicbook fan and a sci fi fan, I'll most remember him for Aliens, Predator 2, The Terminator and Agents Of Shield.
Channel 5 are showing The Terminator tonight at 23:15.
