Yes seen him on the news before. Totally shocking what has happened. All my condolences to all those who have been affected by this

Such an act of barbaric evil will merely strengthen the resolve and determination of us all not to surrender to any of it's motivation or intent.
The intimidation will fail while the desire and inclination of people to go about their daily lives will not fail. An attack on the capital is a pathetic, cowardly attempt to grab headlines and claim innocent lives as trophies for those with fundamentally inhumane, radicalist agendas.
It is senseless and disgusting violence which will have caused a sense of loss, worry and despair for some families and friends. My heart goes out to them.

But the hustle and bustle of daily life should and will continue during today's tomorrow and for every other tomorrow to boot. The democratic process will also continue.
And the bulldog British sense of hardy resolve and spirit will live on and on.

May the tormentor be dealt his due just desserts as he is met by his maker.

That guy's in jail so it couldn't have been him.

I was listening to the radio as it unfolded. There were some unconfirmed reports of a second occupant in the car, but it now looks like that wasn't the case.

Truly awful. Thoughts are with the Police Officers family and the other tragic victims of this terrible crime.

It must have been a terrifying experience for all involved at Westminster today. There are worrying similarities to the attacks in Germany, France and Belgium in recent years. Prayers and thoughts are with the families of the people who have had their lives so brutally and pathetically taken away by the actions of these demented cowards.

Terrorism must never win, and it will never win. In religion, whichever faith people follow and whichever language the Holy Book is written in, the murder is forbidden. I'm sure that Hell's fires are already well stoked for these evil-doers.

Another attempted attack?

Man held for 'driving at crowd' in Antwerp, Belgium

Also, yesterday's attack in London seemingly fell on the first anniversary of the twin bomb attacks in Brussels.

Named the Attacker as 53 yr old Kahled Massood sounds like a petty thug with convictions as back as 83 for GBH and possesing weapons. Not what you think of when you think isis brainwashing young muslim men into doing these acts

Or did he brainwash himself if he had no direct contact with IS? It has been reported in the past that IS has often targeted people with mental illness and brainwashed into committing these kinds of acts for them. I guess it was only a matter of time before we saw the type of 'lone wolf' attacks on our shores that have happened sporadically across Europe over the last 18 months or so and it is the sort of attack that happens "without warning and very difficult to plan against" according to one expert on Radio 5 last night I'm sure it will emerge whether he has connections to that mosque or not as more details emerge, but it wouldn't surprise me if he did

Wasn't there some kind of vehicle defence system in place in & around Parliament? I'm sure I'm right in thinking there IS something in place that is used against vehicles packed with explosives, but not against the kind of attacks that happened in Nice or on Westminster Bridge yesterday?
