The start to the 2nd day goes England's way as the Windies lose 3 quick wickets.
Current score 47-4

West Indies 168 all out, trailing by 346.

England enforcing the follow-on.

Great idea inviting this windies team to come play!!

West Indies 137 all out so England win by an innings and 209 runs.

Yeah let me know if they arrive in time for the 2nd Test laugh

It's a shame the England enforced the follow on. They could have given a few of the newer batsmen some valuable match practice.
But I suppose that Joe Root & team now have the Sunday and Monday off

I do think eventually the West Indies will come good again, but at the moment many probably will see this as pay back for all the thrashings we suffered during the 70's & 80's

I really can't see the west indies becoming a major force in cricket again anytime soon perhaps not ever. There is nowhere near enough support or money for the game in the Carribean. The days days of Richards, Lara and rest of the greats has long gone and with them the enthusiasm for the game.

Chris Woakes is to replace Toby Roland-Jones for the second Test starting tomorrow.
