This information regarding the first problem has been received:
Quote:On May 12, 2009 around approximately 10:50 PM your time, a number of servers went down due to a widespread network outage.
There was a block of IP addresses that were not advertising correctly to the rest of the Internet. We are investigating.
There was no chance of data loss during the outage. The servers were all powered on and waiting to do their jobs but the network connection to them was down.
Your website wasn't unavailable, it was running fine and in perfect order. The problem was that people couldn't connect to it.
Approximately 25 minutes later, service was fully restored.
This explanation of the second problem has been received:
Quote:We noticed approximately 10 minutes of downtime for a few of our dedicated server customers. Sites were unavailable for approximately 10 minutes, starting at 4:20 PM your time. We are awaiting further details about the cause of this outage. From what we know so far, the issues were on the CAR (customer access router) level and not related to an IP block or yesterday's issues.
Whatever the exact problem, we understand that the issue is now fully resolved.
