WHAT A FANTASTIC GAME!!!!! the Hungarian netminder stood on his head and looked like he would clinch Hungary the game after they went 2-0 up early in the 3rd period. GB with just under 10 min left pulled it back to 2-1 and then with 15 seconds left and the goalie pulled TIED THE GAME AT 2-2 to secure the point to clinch promotion and the gold medal
GB went on to win the game 3-2 after penalties to finish top of Division 1A with 11 points (3 wins, 1 OT win and 1 Loss)
they will now play the likes of USA & Canada next year in the very top group of the world championships

You can see the teams GB are likely to play in the top tier of the world championships from this afternoon on freesports as the 2018 World Champions are decided over the next few days.
1st game is USA v Canada at 3:10pm on freesports. Plenty of NHL players in both teams including Connor McDavid

Don’t know, but GB will be going up in the rankings given they beat teams a few places above them.
there is one game from the world championships today. Right now it’s Switzerland v Austria

Team GB are playing a warm up game for the world championships today live on freesports from 19:00 taking on KHL side Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in Nottingham ahead of the world championships in 2 weeks
