I have a friend who left Zimbabwe with her family because her father was declared "an enemy of the state" by Mugabe. His crime? When Mugabe was driving white farmers off their land they also drove away the black workers on the farms. Those people were left with nothing - no jobs, homes or means to eat. So my friends dad used to organise trips into the bush to find them and provide them with food and help them find places to live. Mugabe was a despicable man

The BA pilots are on strike for 48 hours, and BA have decided to close down operations.
The pilots, after their pay rise and bonuses, can be earning up to £202,000 pa. Has anyone got any simpathy for the pilots or do you see them as just fatcats.

They are fat cats like the banker wankers. Sure, they do a job when you never know if it will be your last flight, but you are not putting your life on the line like you are in the armed forces or the firefighters or police where one wrong move could see you get a bullet in the head, or a building collapses on you.

So now the new pension's minister wants pensioners to pay National Insurance Contributions. Johnson wants a snap election over brexit, not, 4 million kids in poverty, tax cuts for the rich, pension age raised to 75. fracking, etc. Vote CONservative and completely fuck your lives up. If Johnson does do no deal and the consequences are catastrophic for the country, he will just say he did what you voted for, and politicians will use the same excuse for the next 50 years. Anyone is entitled to campaign for a pay rise. Whether it's justified is another question.
What I don't get though, is this "We want a share of the profits" stuff.
If you want a share of the profits, buy some fucking shares.
