Continental Tires are producing dandelion rubber tires called Taraxagum. At present they are just being used on bicycles.

Britain's first all electric powered plane (Sherwood EKub) made it's maiden 10 minute flight yesterday. It's a single seater and was developed by Cranfield University.

About the same as any other Aircraft that falls out of the sky I would expect. However, if you're on the ground and it hits you on the head you can safely assume that you're fucked.
