Sorry Winsaw but I disagree. I believe I should have a right to nominate as many or as few as I like as long as its within the maximum allowed. Why should I be forced to vote for girls I never watch? Incidentally I could get around your suggestion by simple voting for no hopers.

The variety of views (and all should be welcome) reaffirms my view on doing a proper consulation in 2020. We all want good well regarded competitions and I'm sure between us we can strengthen the existing processes.

There's alot of over-thinking going on here imo.

There's not much wrong with the way the Bs comp is run. Vote once, count up the votes, declare the winner, job done.

"This is the way it's always been" is no excuse for discrimination. Imagine if it was the other way round and we had the Ultimate Nightshow Babe contest, and an Ultimate Babe contest only open to day babes.

And just to be clear, this not a criticism of the actual running of the comp. Joey is bang out of order with his match-fixing allegation.

there is no discrimination for the last 11 years the ultimate babe has been for night girls and the ultimate day vote has been for day girl, there is already a ultimate vote for only day girls, if it really matters to everyone then i will add night to the it next year,
and as i have already said there is already something ready to go if you want to have the different ultimate girls going against each other in the ultimate girl super cup, maybe you could be the one to step up and run it this year as it clearly means a lot to you,
and thank you for the support in the running of things it much appreciated

i wasn't saying that should happen i was just offering some ideas, and reasons to look into things, i was making the point that things can be difficult for a number of reasons, we have to say things or how can we know what people want, your reason is exactly why i have never done that,

Don't be such a hypocrite, if Jess West or Ella Jolie lost out to a coin toss you'd make a song a dance about it, no surprise to see you vote for Beth btwRolleyes I've kept quiet on the coin toss issue in the past, but just because someone puts time and effort into running these comps doesn't mean they can't be questioned

Do you really think people wouldn't question me if i put Tori or Macy through via a coin toss instead of someone else, i know they have no chance of winning a comp ever again because they are considered to be generic, plastic blondes, just like your faves Jess, Lori and Ella never do well in these comps, because not enough people find them attractive

The reason Beth and Sophie were tied in the first place was because they didn't get enough votes, neither of them has a chance in hell of winning the whole thing, but i had to say something on principal

RE: Competition formats - Joey 27 - 13-12-2019 16:37

Personally i say we just vote for the girl we actually want to win the dam thing, it would be much quicker

I only kicked up a fuss with the whole Sophie and Beth thing based on principle, i like Sophie but she's not been in my top 10 this year, it just seems pointless voting for someone in one round then voting against them in the next round if they come up against a bigger fave

RE: Competition formats - Snooks - 13-12-2019 18:08

I will not be undertaking any further babe comps in the future. It is something I have been pondering for the last 7 days or so and by no means an easy or snap decision.
It is not for me to comment as to whether any or all of the comps I ran this year should continue or indeed who runs them.
This will need to be decided by others, possibly in conjunction with the mods but I will be offering no public opinion on these matters.

If future comp organisers seek my help or input privately I am happy to offer advice on the basis of considerable comp experience from the early years of this decade and from this year also.

Best wishes to all current and future comp organisers Smile.

Thank you.

Snookered can you PM me on the awards you was running i am not saying i am going to take over running any of them or anything i would just like to know if any of them interest me.

Thanks Snookered.

RE: Competition formats - Kingsmind - 13-12-2019 18:21

Also here's another thing that needs addressing when people vote for just 1 or 2 people when the requirement for example is to vote for your top 4 babes i feel that if someone doesn't take notice of the ruling there votes should not be counted.

RE: Competition formats - Joey 27 - 13-12-2019 19:00

^Maybe they only have one favourite like Secretagent does

I only voted for Nicole in the QF round because most of the other girls in the draw don't appeal to me,
i like Paige and Rebecca but i don't think they should be in the QF's so i didn't vote for either of them, just because they are wildly popular doesn't mean they are big faves of mine, i'll only vote for them if they are up against girls i don't like

People can come up with a 100 different ways how to run these comps, but bias, preference and tactical voting will always play a part
