i had a yahoo mail, but i can't remember how you get the password and account if you've forgotten it.

I'm having trouble with it myself i can't seem to check my mail every time i click mail and it comes up with how many i have in my Inbox and spam box before I have a chance to do anything the screen changes to white and there's a little advert box in the top left hand corner for an online casino.

I'm not sure about your problem Timbo, as I've not encountered that one myself with Yahoo, all I can suggest is you try and close the advert and hope it returns you back to what you were doing.

Wish i could do that but it doesn't open up so i can't really close it it takes the page of the yahoo mail so if i close it yahoo mail closes as well.

I'm not sure what you'd do to stop that happening mate, I hardly use my Yahoo (hence the 40000+ messages! lol), all I can suggest is that you try the help page, the 'I think my account may have been compromised' option might be worth following!

Timbo - If the casino adbox has an address, what about naming it as 'restricted' in your security settings in internet options? Would that prevent it appearing in the first place?
(I'm sure a much-more-technical person than me can confirm whether this might work or not...)
