I saw a photo of him a few months back looking thin but i just assumed it was for a movie role... cancer is shit

Any Cancer can hit you any time or catch you off guard I assume it is likely he was probably feeling the effects of treatment and totally agree 100 cancer is shit and whatever cancer you get diagnosed with get the treatment down asap to give it the kicking in it's nuts as quickly as possible

Same, I thought he'd slimmed down for a role when he was last on Norton, he didn't look ill as such, just thin.

Nothing was said about it, actors regularly bulk up and slim down, plus he was a private person by all acounts.

Im guessing they would know especially if they had to insure him for his parts in infinity war and endgame

I think recasting would probably be a mistake, they can't have anyone else as T'Challa imo.
If they plan to continue the franchise, they should have his sister take over the mantle like in the comics. It'll be complicated whatever they decide, but to honour Chadwick, they could have him die off screen and make a chunk of the film a tribute. I hope they go that way, it'd make the most sense.
