Jon Rahm is the US Open champion after a final round surge powered him to the title.
A closing round of 67 enabled him to win by 1 shot and in so doing become the first Spaniard to claim victory in the tournament at -6.
Oosthuizen was runner up at -5.

It is two successive runner up finishes in majors for Louis Ousthuizen after also finishing in that spot to Phil Mickelson at Kiawah Island.
It is his 6th runner up finish at a major overall.
