Now the fuel companies are saying that they are having problems with the distribution of petrol etc.
They are saying that they may have to close some of the small petrol stations and concentrate supplies on essential site, like motorway services. Where they can charge an extra 10p a litre annoyed

So that would mean you would have to travel a couple of miles to a motoway, fill up then waste petrol driving home then have to go back to the motorway services to fill up again just to go to work.

Have the Government really done anything to solve the shortage in drivers??

Now that the media has got hold of the petrol delivery shortages they've managed to panic the public into panic buying again, just like they did with the toilet rolls.

But I'm noticing that one major factor in a shortage of drivers is caused by problems caused by the DVLA.

And it's a little creepy that the present supply is a bi product of fertiliser plants.

There is tons of the stuff, but taking CO2 out of the air is an expensive process, so very little effort has been made to make CO2 in that way.

Yesterday there was a report from a brewery in Manchester.
They used CO2 for several things in the brewing and canning process.

They admitted that they were going to start using there own CO2 (once they get all the equipment fitted) which is given off during the beer fermentation process. Glucose is converted into alcohol and CO2.

Had to go through a supermarket complex on a bus journey this morning.
Added 35 minutes to the journey.
Reason: Petrol panic buyers in massive queue with roundabout gridlock.

Similar story on the way back.

There was a time that when a government minister said "there is plenty of fuel - no need to panic buy" that people would believe them. Not now. This bunch of liars have an unbroken track record of obfuscation and deception.

The HGV Driver issue has been known for months and they have done nothing to fix it.

Went to the supermarket this week and there were gaps where supplies have been delayed but Boris says there is no problem.

I guess he'll quote Kermit the Frog at us as he did to world leaders at the UN this week and expect us to laugh and think how wonderful he is.
