Just a question - not a query borne of disagreement. Why head to head, and not just individual voting numbers?? lowest eliminated etc?? Time constraints??

It can't be time constraints, because this started so early this year. For some reason it began 3 weeks earlier than last year.

The reason I asked the question is that some match ups are head to head, and some three ways (so to speak) So some have 50/50 chance which is reasonable, but others 33% . The point is obvious!! Maybe I am misreading the situation??

FWIW I appreciate the effort of everyone who volunteers their time to run these competitions.
We can take it all a bit too seriously, but mustn’t forget that it’s all just for fun.

If some people can't accept I was only doing my best that hurts me very deeply that they choose the wrong moment to have a go. I have run this for a long time and know how I do things may not be perfect to others, but I know what I am doing works for me. I am having a difficult time at work and in personal life with my brother having been very ill this week and this just has hit home hard.
