Thats the reply I gave to the judge as well- forgive the bad joke there.

Most of the older members will know my thoughts on Murray. Injury barring I think he'll get to the final - Whether he wins or not is up to him. The draw is good for him and he can go all the way.

I hope he does

Agreed

Agreed again

Disagree, i think it will be up to Fed who wins
He's got a good record against Federer, but not on grass, so i think Federer will win it BUT if for whatever reason he doesnt play well on the day (very hopeful i know Big Grin) then Murray will have to take advantage

Yep, even tho she lost she played great, especially in the first set, and the future definitely looks good for her IMO

Well done Andy Murray. He made hard work of it, but got through in the end.
At least he is still British!
If he had got beaten he would have been ScottishWink

I've just posted a few Tennis Commentary Bloopers here, just in case you may like to have a chuckle!
Please Note: Some are really BAD!

Long-range forecast showing rain for the weekend, though I think we're outta luck for a "People's Sunday" this year!

Tennis Quotations from Wimbledon

A traditional fixture at Wimbledon is the way the BBC TV commentary box fills up with British players eliminated in the early rounds.
Clive James The Observer (1981)

After an early singles exit at Wimbledon - All that's left for me to do is go find John Lloyd and start a family.
Pam Shriver (1986)

At Wimbledon, the ladies are simply the candles on the cake.
John Newcombe

I often surprise myself. You can't plan some shots that go in, not unless you're on marijuana, and the only grass I'm partial to is Wimbledon's.
Rod Laver (1970)

On Steffi Graf's first round defeat at Wimbledon by Lori McNeil- Steffi Grief... the unstoppable juggernaut of women's tennis has just been run over by a Lori.
The Sun (1994)

On the traditional English summer- It's always the same. Either it's rainy with sunny intervals or sunny with rainy intervals.
Pat DuPre

The one foolproof way of putting the ticket touts out of business - a Wimbledon final between Pete Sampras and Jim Courier.
The Guardian (1993)

Wimbledon is getting a bit too like Royal Ascot. It's not what happens or who wins so much, as what clothes do I have on.
David Lloyd (1995)

Hey this is not fair! What happened to the "Can Andy Murray win Wimbledon" thread?

I replied "no F***ing chance" and I now deserve the right to post I TOLD YOU SO! Big Grin

Where has the thread disappeared to?
