The body of work he has left us to enjoy is just outstanding - whether it be with Black Sabbath or as a solo artist. It is incredible.

In retrospect I think the hardest period for him in life was just after Randy Rhoads died, and I think that has always been something that greatly affected him, and I suppose it was also hard because he probably knew replacing Randy was going to be a hell of challenge for him.

Those images of him at Villa Park are going to be remembered for a lifetime as that was the final time we ever saw him on stage. His passing is going to be felt in HM circles for a very long time.

Thank you Ozzy you will never be forgotten.

R.I.P Ozzy Osbourne

I was lucky enough to see him live in 1998 and he was brilliant! A sad day in the world of Heavy Metal, but what an incredible band Black Sabbath were with Ozzy on vocals!

I feel quite heart broken by this.

Ozzy was more than metal—he was magic. He gave chaos a voice and made it sing. From Black Sabbath’s stormy beginnings to solo anthems like Crazy Train, he was a beacon for every misfit who needed one.

Behind the wild persona was a devoted family man. To Sharon, his partner in life and love for over four decades, and to their children—Aimee, Kelly, Jack, and the others who knew him simply as Dad—we send our deepest condolences. To his grandchildren, close friends, and every fan who ever raised their horns in tribute: this loss cuts deep.

His final show in Birmingham felt like a full-circle moment. A homecoming. A farewell. A thank-you.

Ozzy never wanted a quiet exit. So let’s honour him the way he lived—loud, proud, and unforgettable.

Rest easy, legend. You lit the darkness like no one else. R.I.P.

Isn't Ozzy a member of a very select club in regards of the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame - where he is inducted both with a band and as a solo artist?
