When will you do some fixes to your webstream? The video is so jerky and the frame rate is too slow.annoyed

It will take in the region of 60 working days to install (outrageous but also out of our control) but when fixed will mean that the stream will be on a managed line and at a constant upload speed so there should be no problems with it!

60 days seems like yesterday compared to 6 months later, and were still waiting. Rolleyes

Not being funny. But did you actually order this upgrade from your service provider? Or were you just spoon feeding us a load of BS. bladewave Because no one waits this long after ordering something, still not to have it done.

Who's your service provider again? I just want to know, so I can avoid them like the plague in future. laugh

But seriously. Isn't it about time you got this sorted once and for all. Rolleyes

Looks Like I'm going to have to wait 6 months, just to get a response about having to wait 6 months. laugh

They seem quick enough to come on here and defend themselves against accusations by former employee's. But when it comes to basic customer service, it's none existant. Sad

This channel has some cracking models on it. But it's impossible to do them any justice at all with the webstream in the state it is in. We as customers deserve better, and so do the models.

I am given to understand that Storm have taken a commercial decision not to continue broadcasting on the webstream as it brings in very few calls and the bandwidth can be better used elsewhere.

No they are still broadcasting, if you can call it that via the webstream. Rolleyes Although at present they seem to be replaying something from earlier. bladewave

But better use of bandwidth elsewhere. Surprised Your having a laugh. The bandwidth used on the stream is less than what I was getting on dial up connection 10 years ago. You can record it for well over an hour and it uses less than 50MB. BS use more than that every 6 or 7 minutes. laugh So no wonder nobody is calling using it. It has to be watchable first. Rolleyes

It's actually a loop of between just 30 secs and a minute generally from the early part of the shift, presumably so you know who's on

^^^^Tell that to RLC/Playboy, 4 channels streaming 24/7 or Elite up to 4 channels streaming or Cellcast up to 3 channels streaming,
......all acceptable quality usually........

For people without SKY & because there is only limited Freeview availability, the webstream is mostly their only way to watch the shows, (as an incentive to call) & if you think the Storm webstream is a useless pile of shite check out the xxXpanded TV stream, that's even worse.annoyedannoyedannoyed

......& as the adult entertainment industry is founded on the principle that there's one born every minute, I've cancelled my membership of the site to make room for the next mug......HuhHuhHuh

Sad I have tried pointing that out to them

RE: Storm - Website & Live Webstream - gfunk - 27-03-2012 00:27

it appears that instead they have gone the adultwork route of having the girl who is on tv available on the laptop, its awesome as if its a daytime girl they dont get naked and will take calls while your in group or private so you wait while your credit runs down until the call is over, you may get the occasional token message saying something cliche, webstream is the only way i can watch as i dont have sky so its one channel i dont really bother with (only reason i noticed this thread was because i wanted to know if the stream was supposed to be in a loop)
im only gutted because Roxy is on this channel, hopefully she will see the light and join one of the proper channels that doesnt just cater for the sky audience.
its a pain because i have minutes on the web cc service but cant use them because the stream is the same all night

RE: Storm - Website & Live Webstream - aceman65 - 27-03-2012 00:54

Well unfortunately the webstream is no longer live. And has not been so for quite some time. They just play a recording of a section of the show that repeats itself everytime it refreshes. They change the recording every few hours, but it's certainly not live.

Having a credit card & telephone service for the webstream, which makes you think it's live, is in fact bordering on it being fraudulent activity. As unless you have Sky and can check to see if it's live or not, you have no way of knowing from what's advertised on the website. I'm surprised that they are still being allowed to get away with it.
