Putin's been tell his people that they just plan to liberate the Donbas.

This is just propaganda for the Russian public. He's still after changing the leadership of Ukraine.

If we've learn't one thing is not to trust what Putin says.

There are various odd images of Lukashenko going around the net. This is one showing him with a couple of pornstars, Isabelle Deltore & Isabella Nice.

I disagree. I think Putin's realised that his political goals were unrealistic. He knows now that Ukraine will never accept any puppet government.

I see a genuine change of emphasis in the Russian war effort, as Putin tries to salvage something from the mess, something he can call victory.

The Russian are now saying that they will withdraw from Kyiv. Whilst they still have a force to withdraw.

^Putin himself announced a withdrawal of Forces from Syria in 2016. It didn't happen.

If they do start to withdraw and there's no ceasefire in effect, the Ukrainians should kick their arses all the way back to Russia so they can't regroup.

Burn the fuckers alive in their Tanks, it's the very least they deserve.

Obviously the war is far from over but I was thinking about how badly the Russians have fought.
Then I thought about other wars like Syria or Afghanistan....successful?
Am I right in thinking that the last war that achieved it's objectives, something like a hundred per cent would be The Falklands? All the more remarkable because we had to go 8000 miles to do it.

Exactly. They are talking about withdrawing but only in the areas where they are losing ground anyway.

And what does that tell you? how well oiled the British military machine was even then to go 8000 miles in rough seas to kick Galteri's arse once and for all.

Falklands was a shit show from start to finish just lucky it was against the argies who were mainly conscripts against well drilled troops

the old saying Lions led by donkeys

And we learnt our lessons from the falklands god to think if it hadnt have happened

I can't see Putin coming out of this smelling of roses tbh and when he he has no political opponent to oppose him it makes it even more difficult to remove him.
