Well, it seems a lot better now. Big Grin

I don't know if this will mean anything to you or not, but it always seems to be worse for me between 19:00 - 20:30pm. Or at least it has been for the last few days.

It's also not too bad getting into threads. It's just if you try and browse through the pages, within a thread. Then it's a lot worse.

I've tried using IE, Firefox(my default browser) & Chrome. All seem to have the same problem. But Firefox is worse than the other two, when it kicks in.

Just to clarify & update - on this occasion, I believe this is an issue with the ISP I use. Other users of O2 & Be* may also be experiencing pages hanging/not loading for some websites. http://beusergroup.co.uk/?id=577

Alexa - who continuously monitor website load times - disagrees with your statement. According to Alexa the average time taken to load a page on this site is 1.775 seconds, which is rated by them as average for the web and it's comparable to Google at 1.564 seconds, not far behind Youtube at 1.485 seconds and almost identical to Yahoo at 1.766 seconds. Many major sites are slower, such as ebay at 2.02, Twitter at 2.064, Live at 2.235, Myspace at 2.404 and Facebook at 2.111 seconds. Of the top 10 most visited websites in the world only 4 of them are rated as loading faster than this site. It's also worth noting that according to Alexa 99.98% of sites on the web receive less traffic than this one, yet only 58% of those sites have a faster load time despite their lighter traffic load.

Thanks Admin.

So I guess, most of the problems regarding loading times, are down to the browser you use. And your service provider.

And certain problems I have had with Firefox over the last few days would certainly support this.

On occasion, I have had Firefox open up tab after tab continuously, when trying to open up a page, until you click the stop button. As it seems to want to download the php, rather than open it sometimes.

That would certainly suggest a fault within Firefox.

All the best

Ace.

Forum seems to go slow from 10pm until midnight. Sad And you just know how bad things will be when Tori Black makes her debut on Elite TV. Wink

Methinks the Hamsters that power the server need stronger Steroids.

Once again, the forum is super slow. Sad Seems to always happen between 9pm and 12am. Hmmm, I'm guessing that having over 1000 guests on this forum isn't exactly helping things. bladewave
