^He has got it spot on. England fans deserve proper explanation as to what went wrong.

I will agree with him - whoever signed off that tour pre - series - is IMO - the real culprit and it would be cruel irony if it was agreed between McCallum and Key and ultimately both should pay the price for such a foolhardy decision. There is NO way you can prepare for Australia on just one net practice and one inter squad game pre - series and think that will be all that you need to be ready for the rigours of touring Australia for what near on three/four months?
IT ISN'T. As I have always said, you need a good couple of weeks to acclimatise to the conditions and how the ball behaves, etc.
