So Brazilian football has been fine in 2010 and 2006 then? Wrong manager then as well? There is something wrong in Brazilian football if they keep employing the wrong manager at the very least. Who should have been chosen ahead of David Luiz? Because he's been awful. Too simplistic to blame the manager. Yes, he takes blame but so do the players. I know nothing about the Brazilian domestic league but I feel that if there were that many players playing in the domestic Brazilian league then the top European teams - especially the Spanish, Russian and Portuguese teams - would have scouted and signed them. As for picking a team of "names", Diego, Lucas Moura, Ronaldinho, Pato, Robinho, Kaka...That would be picking "names" surely? Brazilian football has no divine right to win. Accept it. You've not been good enough this tournament or any WC tournament since 2002. Obviously they should and they would have done. Ask yourself this - why does any team celebrate the goals they score in third place play off matches? Whatever dude, I did grow up in Brasil and have watched Barzilian football all my life, I don't need somebody on a babes forum to tell me the problems, any Brazilian can see them, I don't need your help Come back and tell me the problems with Brazilian football when you have won 4 more world cups RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Joey 27 - 12-07-2014 20:57 what!!! why should england have celebrated if they scored against costa rica? at the end of the day they are out just like holland are RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - mikedafc - 12-07-2014 21:00 Not really saying much given England's record in World Cup compared with Brazil's (11-07-2014 19:46 )Fernandez Esperenda Wrote: RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Fernandez Esperenda - 12-07-2014 21:01 I agree with Joey, England shouldn't have Celebrated if they Scored against Costa Rica, Hodgeson should have issused an apology before the game and walked away after it, the players should have just picked the ball up and give it to Costa Rica to try and score as many as possible for the fans, not Celebrate failing.. I expect Brasil to do the same tonight... and for Scolari to walk away afterwards, this 3rd 4th place playoff is a pointless game and should not even be played.
