But the Covid Recovery Group made up of Tory MP's has been requesting information to help make a judgement and itis likely up to 70 will revolt and vote against Boris or abstain

This entire thing was predictable with 'covid' fatigue and inevitably those that would at some point 'break rank' with the conclusions of the govt. What should have happened is the top scientists (I know there has been disagreement among the science fraternity too) advising, should have been given the job of communicating the message without political interference on nothing more than the facts - coupled with cross party buy in/responsibility! Like Brexit, this was an issue that needed something more than a one party 'intellectual property' approach

Given that we now have had a whole PL football game cancelled due to Covid, I am wondering has the Goveernment has now mis - judged the decision to allow fans back if so, should they delay it? I get the feeling that we could be heading in the direction of Project restart 2.

And on a more broader Virus front, are we heading for a third wave that could even dwarf the first two? This virus war may nor be over by a long shot for quite a while and now wonder if more time is needed to raise the effectiveness of the vaccines avaialable in case of virus mutation that could render even these vaccines ineffectve before roll out.

The Government won the vote on new tiered system but 78 MP's voted against and i think it was inevitable it would be a victory, once Labour announced it would abstain. Now will Boris act to kick out the rebels from his own party? and if he does, will they even cross the floor to join Labour and inflict heavy defeats in the future?

Agree, but it’s still going to be till at least the spring/Easter that the U.K. will be in these tiers or even more lockdowns as it’s going to take months to roll out the vaccine & the high risk groups are getting the vaccine first.

I too hope the government haven’t fucked this up, wouldn’t be surprised if they do fuck this up, especially as it’s the vaccine that has to be stored at -70 degrees Celsius.

Hoping they leave the transport and the logistics to the Army not a private contractor

You can bet they will change their mind at the last minute and give it to a private contrractor who claims they can handle it and they will know fuck all what to do and shore it wrongly so it is ruined beyond use.

for a roll out success for me, it has to be done with the Army and NHS working in partnership with one another.

Thankfully it's got fuck all to do with you - I'll trust the logistics experts to transport it correctly. Stop being so damn negative mate. If you don't like it then get to the back of the queue and take your chances with the virus
