The opening episode of Flux was a bit hectic, with everything including the kitchen sink thrown in, and felt a bit rehashed in places but I surpringly enjoyed it. I didn't even mind John Bishop though I wish the paired down Doctor and Yas team was maintained. Jodie seems to be saving her best until the last.

Yeah old school Sontarans rock (couldn't stand the previous nu Who redesign)

Liked the cinematography and "let's throw the kitchen sink at it" special effects.

Only problem was the sound, or should I say the dramatic music. It was far too loud when characters wee speaking such that we missed much of the dialogue.

I enjoyed the opening episode of Flux to interesting to see how it goes going forward till the final episode where I assume the new Doctor will be revealed

It was a bit madcap, but entertaining enough, with a few new characters mixed in.

Nope, Whittaker has filmed her final scene (without being told who her replacement will be*) but 3 episodes are being held over for broadcast and spread through next year as specials: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_Who_(2022_specials)

* If anyone knows yet?

^ If they decide to cast another woman I'd like to see them go all out for Jodie Comer personally, seems unlikely though.

On the new episode, has some definite potential, probably the best of the Whittaker episodes by a distance for me. Intriguing storyline, promising villains, new and old, and a plot, although early doors, looks like it could be very interesting with a good set up too. Doctor Who has been extremely uninteresting and aimless since the end of Capaldi's second series for me so hopefully 13 can end on a good run.

Based on her outstanding performance in 'Help' They could do worse! Would it not be a few steps down from the standard she set in 'help', when she should be hot property now for anybody willing to and capable of penning more dramas of the calibre of 'Help' Why they had to regurgitate Dr Who in the first place instead of something new and - dare I say it public service, shows where the BBC have ended up!! Not a popular opinion amongst you guys - I get that- but even so!!
