RE: Dr Who - southsidestu - 05-11-2021 23:43 There was a lot going on. I think it's only fair to let it all play out before I judge it but I feel that when a TV show hypes something up so much it always fail to deliver because reality always pales in comparison to the expectation in the audiences minds. I always felt that there was to be a female Doctor i would of liked her to be like Hayley Atwell's Agent Carter RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 09-11-2021 14:00 Yeah, I thought it was alright this week. More Brookie cast members, maybe Chibnall should have gone that direction from the off. Jimmy Corkhill for the next Doctor! OK, p'raps not. RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 13-11-2021 13:37 Apropos, another old series part-animated DVD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxmgqgWeZkA RE: Dr Who - skully - 14-11-2021 19:22 Hmm, I'm not sure what to make of that episode to be honest. I don't know if I'm confused or just didn't enjoy it. lol. RE: Dr Who - ShandyHand - 14-11-2021 19:30 When you watch an episode where the ending implies everything had to happen as it just did, you come away with the feeling you've just watched rats run through a maze for 50 minutes. RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 15-11-2021 21:30 I'm not interesting in the bloody crap Weeping Angels. That said, this week did feel like treading water to try and develop some ongoing plot aspects (some of which I simply can't credit anyway). Oh and to let the regulars dress up and act out of character a bit. RE: Dr Who - skully - 21-11-2021 19:18 ^ Well, unfortunately more weeping angels, but at least they made them a bit more interesting this time...I suppose...kind of...meh. lol. RE: Dr Who - lovebabes56 - 21-11-2021 20:06 ER....can anyone tell me what the weeping angels were supposed to do? Never quite worked out what they did. lol RE: Dr Who - lovebabes56 - 21-11-2021 20:08 (09-11-2021 14:00 )Doddle Wrote: Yeah, I thought it was alright this week. Isn't Jimmy supposedly buried under that patio? lol RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 22-11-2021 21:46 (21-11-2021 19:18 )skully Wrote: made them a bit more interestingLIES! Kevin McNally was really very good; early on I was hoping he'd get his own series, though the odd tasteless lapse didn't help things. |
