Yes I was greatly encouraged by that.
He had a pretty rough trot for quite a while so it's pleasing to see him on the right track once again.

Englishman Tyrrell Hatton has claimed his first PGA Tour title in The Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. A tough course which he negotiated well to win by 1 shot.

The Open Championship at Royal St Georges has today been cancelled.
The course will now host the event in 2021.

Supposedly they'll be back on the greens come mid-June. They seem more optimistic than almost everyone else. Maybe that's where Trump gets his inspiration from?

The 2002 Ryder Cup at The Belfry is the offering this Sunday.

Todays offering is the singles from the 2004 Ryder Cup at Oakland Hills.
Europe thrashed the USA team by 18.5-9.5 overall that year.

The Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.

Justin Rose with a stunning 63 in his opening round.

South Korean Sung Kang made a Hole-In -One at the 162 yard Par 3 13th in the above Event on Thursday, but as nobody saw it go in from the tee he was unaware until he was told by a media guy which prompted a delayed celebration. As this & the next 3 PGA Events will be played without spectators the usual crowd reaction would have given the group on the tee a big hint that Kang had Aced the hole. Golf along with snooker, which share a commonality of being generally more restrained Games & Sports are still suffering from the absence of any crown interaction.

The PGA Travelers Championship in Connecticut saw positive test for coronavirus from Cameron Champ & the caddies of Brookes Koepka & Graeme McDowell all 3 players concerned have withdrawn, along with Koepka's brother Chase & last weeks winner Webb Simpson.
There have been 7 positive tests out of 2.757 tests conducted since the Tour's return.
