RE: UK Riots - *Kal-El* - 10-08-2011 14:22 Here's a video of a looter who was in court and charged with his crime and ends up walking into a lamp post, i hope it fucking hurt lol: RE: UK Riots - SOCATOA - 10-08-2011 14:46 Should cancel the two aircraft carriers and spend the money developing a Yob seeking missile RE: UK Riots - misterG - 10-08-2011 14:57 I'm as disgusted as most people at what's going on. I'm all for anti-capitalism and political reform but there's no agenda here, political, racial or anything else - its just meaningless, mindless violence, and like most here I have no time for the perpetrators. Personally I'd introduce a 5 (maybe 6) point plan: 1) water cannon, not just with water but coloured indelible purple - that way anyone involved will be easily identifiable for weeks to come and can be rounded up and dealt with 2) bring back the stocks and the lash - every city/town should have them (preferably next to the gallows - although reserve that for murderers, paedophiles and bankers). Anyone convicted of rioting (as opposed to more serious stuff) does 168 hours straight - no toilet breaks or beds, just let them stand there in their own shit, to be abused, pilloried etc and 20 strokes every hour 3) at first sign of a riot - put the army on the street and deal with the bastards properly - never seen anyone light a fire with a bullet in their head. These people are scum and the world would be a better place without them 4) anyone convicted of a crime against another person should have that crime tattoed on their forehead for perpetuity 5) anyone convicted who isn't british or is 1st generation immigrant (ie their parents weren't born in the uk) should have their passport taken and be deported to Somalia - if they want trouble they'll get it there but instead of attacking innocent people and property they'll have to fight for their lives. oh, and number 6) of course would have to be GET OUT OF EUROPE otherwise the collaborators and apologists in the eec won't let us make our own laws to rule our own society. RE: UK Riots - SOCATOA - 10-08-2011 15:05 Anyone convicted of looting or rioting should have all benefits stopped for life!!! That would stop most of the bastards in their tracks RE: UK Riots - handsomeSOB - 10-08-2011 16:09 as well as the previously mentioned stuff, why don't shops just stop selling hoodies? or anything else that covers faces, like caps, bandannas. etc RE: UK Riots - SYBORG666 - 10-08-2011 16:15 It makes me laugh when i've heard about rioters bringing guns to the fight and the police are bringing in rubber bullets and a giant water gun. FFS, let the Army take control and show them how to do the job properly. RE: UK Riots - Regenerated - 10-08-2011 16:22 I'm concerned that last night's hit and run incident in Birmingham is going to fuel more aggression between the gangs. Someone will want retribution which will only fuel the scuffles even more. I've been sent home from work again early. Wolverhampton under limited access again this evening with a large number of youths gathering by the Lichfield Street area in the city. Sickening to see some of these dickheads pretending to help injured people and while "helping" them to their feet, they're taking their wallets from their pockets! The water cannons and rubber bullets need to be employed as soon as possible. The police dogs seem to deter some of the looters, and I am at least seeing some riot police tackling looters with baton rounds. The rest of the riots had no cause/link and is opportunistic destruction. I don't condemn the police based on conjecture, I've seen and experienced it first hand. It's no coincidence that a lot of non-whites hate the police. If Mark had done something in the cab to lead to his death, surely that would have been released straight away, showing that the police did well and acted correctly. Yet nothing has been said. Don't tell me investigations etc need to be done, if he was acting untoward at the time, we would have known. Before you think to the contrary, I don't justify or condone any of the violence, but I can see why they have resorted to it. Racism is about skin colour. Xenophobia is hatred for people form certain countries. If you genuinely are comparing hating the Scots etc to actual racism, you need to get out of your bubble and see what is really happening to the various races in this country, not just by the police (and I don't mean all the police). You say it's easy to 'its easy to throw the race card' but until you have actually experienced it and know what you are talking about regarding race, you really can't comment, but of course you will just dismiss this again because you know all about racism. I've never claimed, and no one has, that these riots are race related, as I have said, they are opportunistic, but the initial riot (after the peaceful protest) in Tottenham was after a girl was beaten by a fair few policemen, for either throwing a stone or a champagne bottle. Now I will be the first to say she was 100% wrong to do anything of the sort, but would it have been difficult to arrest her? Did they need to beat her? Just to add, I am not black RE: UK Riots - bigguy01 - 10-08-2011 16:53 the loss of benefit of those who are convict for these riots has an e-petition is about to reach the 100,000 threshold that is needed for a debate by the mps. the housing minister has that those participate the riots could their public housing affect in the future. they should not be shown any leniency by the courts even if they do plead guilty. from bbc website "Amateur footage posted on YouTube claim. But please note the BBC cannot verify when this footage was taken, nor the context leading up to the events. Manchester Police have so far not commented" the footage shows police beating a suspect. if the suspect is from the riots he deserves it. problem with peaceful protests they tend to have simmering underbelly of those that want to cause damage and be violent. after the student protests which end in voilence they have had no other protests or joined in other protests. just on the news a pathetic tw@t using his girlfriend has human shield to protect himself from being hit by the police. the guy in the video posted by kalel is a teaching assistant. he is great role model for kids (sarcasm intended). hopefully he will not allowed to teach kids anymore. i hope the birmingham police the bastards, who ran over and killed three people protecting their homes, soon has this might set off another riot. Its been chucking it down all day. Its a pity the weather was not like that last night. There would have been a lot less trouble, if any. I just saw that video clip, in the previous post, on the TV news a short while ago. |
