RE: Arrow - *Kal-El* - 19-07-2013 09:58 Some Arrow news looks like Black Canary will be appearing in season 2 but it won't be series regular Katie Cassidy, who plays Laurel Lance but will be The Pact's Caity Lotz as Dinah Drake which will based on the golden age version of Black Canary according to "The Wrap". The character will start the season as recurring one but will eventually make the transition to series regular as she is being groomed to become another love interest for Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen. No news yet if she'll have her trademark high-pitched scream but with this show having people with no powers then i some how doubt it which is shame. RE: Arrow - bigguy01 - 21-07-2013 11:03 ^^^ they could have black canary with voice modification unit like arrow uses to hide his true voice. manu bennett aka slade wilson will be a series regular. emily bett rickards aka felicity smoak is also promoted to series regular. oct 9th is the season 2 premier in the stats, if it is like last year then will be another 2 weeks around about 23rd for it to be shown here. RE: Arrow - bigguy01 - 22-07-2013 12:50 comic con trailer for season 2 RE: Arrow - *Kal-El* - 22-07-2013 15:20 RE: Arrow - *Kal-El* - 30-07-2013 19:45 Deadline is reporting that The Flash will appearing in season 2 of Arrow with him possibly having his own series. RE: Arrow - *Kal-El* - 30-07-2013 19:58 It will probably be Barry Allen if it does happen could this mean that Hal Jordan popping up one day since Green Arrow and Green Lantern are best mates in the comics. RE: Arrow - *Kal-El* - 30-07-2013 20:54 Mark Pedowitz, President of The CW, spoke about the project today at the TCA Summer Tour saying: "We plan to introduce a reoccurring character and an origin story of Dr. Barry Allen, who as we now know is The Flash. We're planning an origin story, we'll see how it goes and hopefully it will go on." RE: Arrow - *Kal-El* - 31-07-2013 12:51 More news of The Flash appearing in Arrow are that Arrow writers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg and DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns are writing a script for the pilot and that David Nutter, director of the Arrow pilot, could direct The Flash pilot and that his set to appear in either the 8th or 9th ep of season 2 and that casting for The Flash sets this week. RE: Arrow - bigguy01 - 31-07-2013 13:22 a live action version of the green lantern would be good. RE: Arrow - *Kal-El* - 01-08-2013 02:15 More news of The Flash being in Arrow: "When we first meet Barry Allen, he's just a forensic scientist … an ordinary man,"Andrew Kreisberg said. "Part of the fun for the audience … is to see how we view our Arrow take on the Flash legacy. Some of it will feel very familiar to DC Comics, some of it hopefully will feel different, fresh and exciting. The same way we approached Arrow is the same way we're approaching Barry." Barry Allen will be appearing in ep 8 and 9 with the ep 20 being left open for possible spin off of a series of his own. When Kreisberg was asked whether he would be called The Flash and be wearing his red suit he said: "No sweat suits or strange code names; he will be The Flash." |
